Bardiness

"..a bardy view!"

Pacquiao Reigns Supreme….

Further to my post back in March, I was fortunate to watch the fight amongst a partisan Filipino crowd. The match was notable only in Pacquiao's clinical destruction of his opponent. Pachat

After two rounds it was over, and all of us watching surely winced at the blow which landed on Hatton's chin. Pow! It was a real cruncher!

Hatton was left floored and the imagination could clearly conjure the twittering birds circling around his head. His wife mentally received the blow because she feinted as a result.

Hatton never looked confident from the moment he marched to the ring, but whether his army of fans were ready for such an annihilation is unlikely. They should have been prepared after the first round, when he was knocked down twice!

Considering the millions of pounds he received, it could be that he singularly failed to earn his money – loser or not. However, I doubt anyone has the ability to beat the Pacman. He exudes confidence and fights like a machine.

Manny Pacquiao is the equivalent of a Filipino Beckham, and a terrific asset to boxing, regardless whether it can be regarded as a sport or not.  He's hot property for advertisers, and a great ambassador for his country. There's still alot of fight left in him.

As for Ricky Hatton, it's time to throw in the towel and retire whilst his brain has the ability to choose.

It's over son – you met a ruthless, stronger and smarter opponent – there's no shame in the defeat – it's just too bad you couldn't have gone the extra round.
